中文摘要: 采用改进型阴极电解膨胀率测试仪,测试[K3AlF6/Na3AlF6]-AlF3-Al2O3熔体中沥青、呋喃、酚醛和环氧基TiB2-C复合阴极的电解膨胀率,研究粘结剂种类和用量对TiB2-C复合阴极电解膨胀率的影响。对电解后试样断面进行元素微区分析。结果表明,TiB2-C复合阴极的电解膨胀性能受到粘结剂种类和用量两方面共同作用的影响。沥青基TiB2-C复合阴极表现出较大的电解膨胀率,而环氧基TiB2-C复合阴极表现出的电解膨胀率较小。不同种类粘结剂均有一个最佳的粘结剂用量,沥青、呋喃、酚醛和环氧基TiB2-C复合阴极粘结剂的最佳使用量分别为16%,18%,14%和12%,所对应的电解膨胀率最小,分别为1.49%,1.26%,1.18%和0.92%。无论使用何种粘结剂,复合阴极均表现出良好的铝液润湿性。碱金属钾和钠由外至内渗透进入阴极内部,钾比钠有着更强的渗透能力。

Abstract:Corrosion resistance to alkali metal penetration of TiB2-C composite cathodes, which are using pitch, furan, phenolic aldehyde and epoxy as binder, in low temperature electrolyte([K3AlF6/Na3AlF6]-AlF3-Al2O3) were tested and the element distribution and morphology of radial sections of samples after electrolysis were also investigated. The results indicate that electrolysis expansion of pitch based TiB2-C composite cathode is maximal, while TiB2-C composite cathode using epoxy as binder has the minimal electrolysis expansion. Furthermore, each binder has the first-rank addition, corresponding to its own minimum expansion after electolysis. The first-rank addition(mass percent) of pitch, furan, phenolic aldehyde, and epoxy are 16%, 18%, 14% and 12% severally. In this case, electrolysis expansion of corresponding cathodes are 1.49%,1.26%,1.18% and 0.92% respectively. At this circumstance, electrolysis expansion of TiB2-C composite cathodes are 1.49%,1.26%,1.18%
