Abstract:
In this study, the effect of aspect ratio on the mechanic properties of porous titanium with entangled wire structure was investigated. Results showed that specimens with lower aspect ratio get higher Young’s modulus, yield strength and energy absorption capacity. The ideality energy absorption efficiency of specimens with higher aspect ratio rise faster at the first stage, but they also get to the attenuating stage earlier which means they get lower high efficiency point. The high efficiency point of the specimen whose aspect ratio is 1, is bigger than others.
