Abstract:
      A copper ore in Tibet contains 1.6%-1.8% copper and 7.0%-8.5% sulfur. It a refractory ore because of ore properties complex and high concent of easily-mudding gangue. Natural environment in Tibet is worse,and bring the adversely affected for selection of the ore. The enterprise use” copper sulfur mixed flotation-rougher concentrate regrinding and mixed selecting- copper sulfur separation” process, this process is complex, and the indexes are volatile. This paper adopt to “preferential flotation” in order to efficient recovering copper and simplifying technological process, adopting copper collector BK-404 and CaO as depressant roughing two times under the conditions of low alkali at pH of 9, rougher concentrate not regrinding and selecting three times. The results showed that by preferential flotation process,copper concentrate with Cu grade of 20.63%and copper recovery of 82.24% under the conditions of raw ore contain 1.66% copper. Beneficiation indexes is well by “preferential flotation”. Use this technological can reduce the selection of flotation machine configuration volume and reduction circulation and loss of copper metal,achieve good recovery of copper minerals, provides a basis for the process of the scene.
