Abstract: |
With titanium-bearing blast furnace slag in Panzhihua as raw materials, the effects of main components of blast furnace slag( CaO/SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3, MgO ) on melting characteristics and viscosity properties was studied through orthogonal design in this paper. The results showed that the order of various factors affected on slag’s hemisphere point temperature is: R2>TiO2>MgO>Al2O3, and the order on flowing temperature is: Al2O3>R2>MgO>TiO2, and the order on viscosity is: R2>Al2O3>TiO2>MgO. The melting temperature increases with the increasing of alkalinity and TiO2 content and then decrease, however, the temperature continuously decreases with the increasing of MgO content in the experiment range. The viscosity increases with the increasing of alkalinity and MgO content and then decrease. With the increasing of TiO2 content and MgO content, the viscosity decreases firstly, then increases. With the increasing of Al2O3 content, the slag’s hemisphere point temperature decreases at first then increases, and the flowing temperature decreases basically. |
