Abstract: |
Effects of deformation temperature on microstructure and mechanical properties of magnesium alloy AZ80 processed by hypothermal multiple extrusion were investigated. Initial deformation temperature include 390 °C and 370 °C. The results indicated that relatively lower deformation temperature is more beneficial for the gain refinement of magnesium alloy. The specimen processed by hypothermal multiple extrusion at 370 °C has better microstructure and mechanical properties. The size of dynamically recrystallized grains is about 3.5μm. The yield strength and elongation are 201Mpa and 6.78%。Mechanisms of dynamic recrystallization of magnesium alloy include twin dynamic recrystallization, continuous dynamic recrystallization and discontinuous dynamic recrystallization. |
