Abstract:
Pulang copper deposit is a super large porphyry copper deposit formed by westward subduction orogenic stage of Ganzi-Litang oceanic crust in Indo-chinese epoch. It mainly affected by the three regional stress fields(Indo-Chinese epoch, Yanshanian and Himalayan) lead to its complicated geological structure, but the study of geological structure is also relatively low. Based on the field investigation on the joint containing minerals system in first mining area find out that four groups of mineralized dominant joint groups in 3720 midpiece, and its distribution of dip direction range are 290°~345°、355°~50°、145°~161° and 210°~240°. There are three groups of mineralized dominant joint groups in 3735 midpiece, and its distribution of dip direction range are 300°~35°、140°~170 and 200°~250°. Which tension joints of strike 60° to 70° and a series of conjugate joints of strike 290° to 305° and 315° to 330° are regional structural joints, it also make largest contribution to mineralization, and near EW-trending joints are post-mineralization tectonic. Study found that the origin of joint cracks in this area are complex and diverse, but those joint are dominant formed by region stress field and derived stress field of fracture structure.
