      The treatment of the tailings slurry containing cyanide from a gold smelting company in Northeast China by combined technology of acid regulation -air stripping process and neutralization-ozonation treatment is investigated. The optimal technological parameters for acid regulation-air stripping process are amount of sulfuric acid 18mL/L, reaction temperature 38℃, Gas-liquid ratio 200:1,reaction time 2.0h, Total cyanide stripping rate are above 95%.The optimal technological parameters for the neutralization-ozonation are pH 7.5~8.5,amount of lime milk 103.75~126.67mL/L, amount of ozone 4.0g/(L·h). The effluent for treated wastewater could meet Grade I of discharge standard of GB8978-1996.
